Here's what you can expect as a Senior Manager - Hospital Outreach Operations & Strategy at DaVita: The Senior Manager of Hospital Outreach will lead a team of Dialysis Transition Managers (DTMs). These individuals are responsible for conducting outreach to hospitals in an effort to improve the transition of care experience for renal patients transitioning from the hospital to outpatient dialysis. The Senior Manager will serve as a strategic thought partner and operational leader, enabling the evolution of our DTM program. This leader will not only manage and develop a team of high-performing DTMs but will also architect and own high-impact special projects, pilot programs, and strategic initiatives designed to innovate the transition of care experience for renal patients. This leader will drive change by leveraging hospital insights to build scalable strategies, deploying new technologies or processes, and cross-functionally executing on our broader programmatic goals. The Senior Manager is expected to: (1) design and execute complex, multi-stakeholder strategic initiatives, (2) elevate the coaching and development of their team to identify growth opportunities and generate actionable insights, (3) collaborate seamlessly across clinical, operational, and technical business units, and (4) communicate compelling, data-driven recommendations to senior executives.] Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: [Strategy & Special Projects Acts as a strategic owner for key programmatic workstreams (e.g., launching new outreach pilots, operational process improvements or lead research projects) from concept and design through execution and scaling. Leverages a hypothesis-driven approach to identify, validate, and quantify strategic growth and operational excellence opportunities within the hospital ecosystem. Distills complex business problems into cohesive, impactful stories; and presents comfortably and compellingly to executive audiences. Develops infrastructure around data, tools, and processes to create sustained programmatic capabilities and improve program metrics. Finds fulfillment in development and execution of strategies; Goes deep when necessary and zooms out when appropriate Continues to push thinking and find opportunities for innovation and growth. Team Leadership & Operations Coaches and develops DTMs to improve the skills necessary to be successful Creates a special place by fostering a sense of belonging, psychological safety, and continuous learning. Successfully manages relationships with senior leaders and peers and can influence a diverse group of stakeholders through effective communication and strong interpersonal skills Works closely with clinic leaders to align on local growth strategies Creates and manages project plans that drive accountability for complex, cross-functional initiatives; allocates team resources to ensure all timelines and deliverables are met consistently “getting the right stuff done.” Up to 30% travel may be required at times; though typical travel is 10-20%. Minimum Qualifications 7–10 years of total work experience in progressive roles, with a strong preference for backgrounds in strategy development, project management, or complex operations management. Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. Demonstrated experience driving transformational change and managing special projects from concept through implementation, with tangible impact on operating performance. High degree of data literacy and analytical problem-solving skills; ability to translate raw data into strategic action. Experience or degree in a healthcare-related field strongly preferred. This position will be open for a minimum of three days. The Salary Range for the role is $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position. New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.63/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hourFor location-specific minimum wage details, see the following link: DaVita.jobs/WageRates Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
