Responsibilities

As an Experienced Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Providing expert-level support to customers using our bookkeeping software, including QuickBooks Online and comparable accounting software
• Troubleshooting technical issues, navigating software processes, and resolving customer queries in a timely and professional manner
• Demonstrating a deep understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and more
• Delivering exceptional customer service over the phone, via email, or through our online chat platform
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide confident resolution
• Staying up-to-date with software updates, new features, and best practices to ensure seamless support delivery

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software
• Bookkeeping/accounting expertise, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and more
• Excellent customer service skills, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality support over the phone or through digital channels
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer software and hardware
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams
• A quiet, uninterrupted workspace with a dedicated desk area and reliable technology

Work Environment and Technology Requirements

As a remote contractor, you will need to ensure that your work environment meets the following requirements:

• A quiet, uninterrupted space with a dedicated desk area
• A personal computer (no tablet) with a wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet)
• A broadband internet connection with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps
• A wired USB headset with microphone
• A valid antivirus software installed, running, and up-to-date
• A Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system (Mac users: Intel-based machines with Windows 11 installed via Apple's Boot Camp utility)

Important Information

As a contractor with arenaflex, you will be considered an independent contractor, and you will be responsible for your own taxes and benefits. You must live and work from the United States, except for California, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington. You will also be required to pass a criminal background check and agree to a contractual relationship with arenaflex.
