Multi-Site Construction Manager – Structures
Job Description:
- Plan, direct, and manage all phases of temporary structure construction projects, from design through completion.
- Supervise and train multiple supervisors and remote field crews, ensuring accountability and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, implementing cost control measures to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Coordinate logistics, including crew travel, equipment, and material sourcing, to support seamless project execution.
- Communicate with sales, clients, engineers, and vendors to define project scope, resolve issues, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular site visits (25% travel, approximately one week per month) and utilize project management tools for remote oversight.
- Additional travel as required.
- Enforce safety regulations, report incidents thoroughly, and promote a safe work environment.
- Prepare schedules, reports, and documentation to track performance, mitigate risks, and ensure timely administrative tasks.
- Build relationships with key clients, vendors, and industry professionals to support project success and company growth.
- Facilitate training in safe equipment operation (e.g., forklifts, man-lifts) and maintain vehicles in safe condition.
- Analyze and resolve operational challenges to optimize team performance.
- Conduct staff meetings to align teams and share updates.
- Network with industry and local business communities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager, preferably with temporary structures or similar projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Ability to manage budgets, prioritize problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate teams and maintain client relationships.
- Valid driver’s license, ability to pass a company drug screen, and obtain a TWIC Card.
- Full range of motion, dexterity, and professional appearance.
- Proficiency in project management software for remote monitoring and reporting.
- Management-level experience and computer knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (not required but preferred).
