Job Summary
As a Customer Advocate I, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and physicians through phone and written communication. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities
* Respond to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
- Conduct research to resolve customer issues and provide solutions
- Spend approximately 85% of scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of arenaflex's products and services
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment
- Data entry and/or typing experience
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to spend approximately 90% of scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs, and sit for long periods with scheduled breaks
Preferred Qualifications
* 9 months of customer service experience
- Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
- Referral preference given to applicants who can take and meet testing criteria
