Freelance Content SEO Specialist — Backlink Resources Required

About the Role
Wishare Media Group is looking for an experienced Freelance Content SEO Specialist / SEO Vendor to support SEO strategy, content optimization, and backlink-building initiatives for our client projects. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience with content SEO, keyword strategy, on-page optimization, SEO content planning, and off-page SEO / backlink building. We are especially interested in candidates who already have access to quality backlink resources, publisher relationships, guest posting opportunities, blogger networks, product review sites, or digital PR contacts. This is a freelance/vendor opportunity. Projects will be assigned based on client needs, scope, timeline, and your availability. Key ResponsibilitiesContent SEO Strategy Develop content SEO strategies based on keyword research, search intent, competitor analysis, and business goals. Identify high-value keywords and content opportunities for client websites, including blogs, landing pages, product pages, collection pages, and service pages. Create SEO content briefs for writers, editors, designers, and internal marketing teams. Recommend content topics, blog structures, internal linking strategies, and optimization priorities to improve organic search performance. On-Page SEO Optimization Optimize website content, blog posts, landing pages, product pages, and category pages for search visibility and user experience. Review and improve meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, URL structures, image alt text, internal links, and content formatting. Ensure content aligns with search intent, brand positioning, and conversion goals. Support SEO content refresh projects for existing pages and articles. Backlink Building & Off-Page SEO Develop and execute ethical backlink-building strategies, including guest posting, publisher outreach, blogger outreach, product reviews, niche-relevant partnerships, and digital PR opportunities. Use existing backlink resources and publisher relationships to support SEO growth for client projects. Evaluate backlink opportunities based on relevance, domain authority/domain rating, organic traffic, content quality, spam risk, and long-term SEO value. Avoid low-quality, spammy, or high-risk link-building tactics, including PBNs, link farms, spam comments, and mass low-quality directory submissions. Track backlink placements, referring domains, anchor text, and link quality. SEO Research & Reporting Conduct keyword research, competitor research, content gap analysis, and backlink analysis using SEO tools. Monitor organic performance, keyword rankings, backlink profiles, and SEO progress. Prepare clear SEO updates, recommendations, and reports for internal review or client-facing use. Use tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO, Clearscope, or similar SEO platforms. Requirements 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably with content SEO and off-page SEO. Proven experience developing SEO content strategies and optimizing content for organic search. Existing backlink resources, publisher relationships, guest post resources, blogger contacts, product review websites, digital PR contacts, or other relevant off-page SEO resources. Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, on-page SEO, internal linking, and content optimization. Ability to evaluate backlink quality and avoid risky or low-quality link-building tactics. Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms. Strong written communication skills and ability to explain SEO recommendations clearly. Experience working with e-commerce, DTC brands, technology products, fitness products, home products, lifestyle brands, or agency clients is a plus. Ability to work independently as a vendor/freelancer and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, or other CMS platforms. Experience building SEO strategies for DTC, e-commerce, SaaS, technology, fitness, home, lifestyle, or consumer product brands. Experience securing backlinks from niche-relevant websites, blogs, publishers, product review sites, or industry media. Ability to provide sample SEO projects, backlink examples, content strategy examples, or performance case studies. Familiarity with affiliate content, product review content, comparison articles, and “best product” listicle strategies. Compensation
Project Based. This is a freelance/vendor role. Compensation will depend on experience, project scope, backlink quality, deliverables, and availability. Pay: From $3,500.00 per month Application Question(s):
