Job Overview

As a Chemistry Tutor at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to work with students of all ages and skill levels, providing personalized instruction and support in the field of Chemistry. You will be responsible for creating and implementing effective lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback and guidance to help students achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality tutoring services to students in Chemistry, including college-level courses

• Create and implement effective lesson plans that meet the unique needs of each student
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback and guidance to help students achieve their academic goals
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and tutoring sessions
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a seamless and supportive learning experience
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in tutoring and education
• Collaborate with other tutors and educators to share best practices and resources

Minimum Qualifications

* Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields preferred
• Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus but not a requirement
• Experience with basic Database/ Data Entry
• Ability to prepare accordingly for each tutoring session (lesson plan)
• Strong administration skills
• Strong typing, PC and recording skills
• Having reliable transportation with current car insurance is a must
• Access to the internet, a computer, and a smart phone

* Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels

• Strong knowledge of Chemistry and ability to teach at the college level
• Experience with curriculum development and implementation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
