Job Summary

As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying scalable and efficient data processing systems. Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop converged cloud and distributed systems to process and analyze large datasets

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to develop and implement data-driven solutions
• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient data processing systems using Java, Scala, and other relevant technologies
• Work with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and others to design and implement data storage and retrieval systems
• Develop and deploy microservices and API gateways using Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization technologies
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality and reliability of data processing systems
• Collaborate with peer innovation and improvement groups across various areas to drive innovation and growth
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 2+ years of work experience in software development and deployment using Java or Scala
• Experience in data processing and analysis using Flash, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and other relevant technologies
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization concepts
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in designing and developing large-scale distributed systems

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
