Key Responsibilities
As a Ramp Agent, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of baggage, cargo, and mail, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our passengers. Your daily tasks will include:
- Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, while ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
- Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
- Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
- Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless airport operations and providing exceptional customer service to our passengers.
Work Environment and Schedule
As a Ramp Agent, you'll work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. Your schedule will be based on operational needs, with shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. You'll work between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on your seniority.

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful as a Ramp Agent, you'll need:
- Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data
- Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
- Have a valid driver's license
- Proficiency in English
- Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
- Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE
- Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
