Job Summary

We're seeking a results-driven Data Entry Specialist to join our team in a remote, full-time capacity. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for analyzing documents, extracting relevant data, and entering it into our FACIS database. You'll also be required to conduct additional research, communicate with management, peers, and stakeholders, and take on additional projects and tasks as necessary. Key Responsibilities

* Analyze documents to extract relevant data and enter it into our FACIS database

  • Conduct additional research as necessary, including contacting data authorities for guidance on how to interpret documents
  • Communicate clearly with management, peers, and stakeholders on processes and data acquisition/transformation
  • Articulate data transformation processes clearly and effectively
  • Take on additional periodical and/or ad-hoc projects/tasks as necessary
  • Work independently with limited oversight, using provided resources to answer questions before seeking assistance
  • Meet quality and efficiency benchmarks, completing items within the Data Entry queue

Required Skills and Abilities

* Willingness and ability to take ownership and initiative on tasks and projects

  • Ability to work as part of a team to provide on-time results
  • Quick learning ability and ability to adjust priorities throughout the day
  • Uncompromising approach to meeting/exceeding pressing deadlines and expectations
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office products
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to inspect work for flaws

Education and Experience

* High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Health care industry experience is a plus
  • Experience in data entry and comparison is preferred
