Job Summary

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, members, and customers. You'll be the first point of contact for many individuals, and your role will be critical in ensuring that their healthcare needs are met. This is a remote opportunity, and you'll have the flexibility to work from home while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team.

Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Making outbound calls to patients, members, and customers to schedule appointments for preventative health screenings, assess for high-risk or other healthcare appointments
  • Providing welcome calls and assisting members and patients with benefits and insurance information
  • Conducting surveys to gather feedback and improve our services
  • Working with patients, patient representatives, providers, pharmacies, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and care
  • Demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactions, and providing exceptional customer service to meet the needs of our patients and customers

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you'll need to meet the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Strong computer experience, including data entry, screen navigation, and keyboarding
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook (email) and Word
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion
  • Ability to adhere to daily schedules and duties
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
