Technical Program Manager, Infrastructure Supplier Quality, Data Centers

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience analyzing data and creating reports with statistical, quantitative modeling, and forecasting.
- 4 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, supply chain, operations or test validation for mechanical, fabrication, generator, or HVAC infrastructure equipment.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
- Six Sigma Blackbelt, American Society for Quality certification (CQE, CQM, CRE, or CQA), or equivalent certification.
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure equipment design, manufacturing, and deployment at Data Centers or other Mission Critical Operations.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure Standards applied to Mission Critical Operations (ANSI, ASME, APQP, NFPA/NEC, UL, etc.).
- Knowledge in Design of Experiments, statistical analysis and process control, and familiarity with application of statistical analysis tools such as JMP/SAS/Minitab/ANOVA.
- Ability to travel 50% or as needed.
- Work directly with supplier partners managing critical aspects of infrastructure data center equipment supplier quality. Collaborate with designers, commodity managers, manufacturing engineers, and drive supplier failure analysis.
- Provide analytical leadership to statistically connect production line metrics, tests, and quality audits to field performance.
- Manage validation of suppliers build/test processes and ensure they are meeting Google requirements. Validate supplier product lifecycle deliverables defined by Google and leverage industry quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits, inspect production facilities/lines, articulate quality improvement activities to reduce variability, improve predictability, streamline lead time, improve output quality, and more. Partner with suppliers to solve complex product quality and process issues across the full product lifecycle.
- Own and advance our inventory quality management program. Implement preventative strategies to establish root cause(s) and systemic corrective actions.
