The Glendale Bar Association (GBA) is a professional organization that supports the legal community in Glendale and the surrounding areas. Dedicated to fostering professional growth and networking, GBA provides resources, educational programs, and events for its members. As a member-focused organization, GBA aims to empower legal professionals by promoting the highest standards of ethics and practice in the legal field. Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for an Administrator. The Administrator will handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as managing schedules, coordinating events, maintaining records, responding to member inquiries, and ensuring smooth operation of the association. Additionally, the Administrator will assist with communications, membership management, and other tasks as needed to support organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Administrative and organizational skills, including scheduling, record-keeping, and task management
- Communication skills, including email correspondence, member interactions, and professional writing
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
- Experience with event coordination or membership management is a plus
- Previous experience in a legal or professional association is beneficial
