Responsibilities

As a Live Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Becoming a brand or product expert: Develop in-depth knowledge of our brand, products, and services to provide customers with reliable support throughout the purchasing process or troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Maintaining live chat best practices: Respond to every customer query, use clear and correct writing, and professional language, and follow up with customers post-chat to ensure they feel valued and supported.
  • Providing pre- and post-sales support: Carefully answer customer questions, provide clear and transparent details on our products, and patiently guide customers through the purchasing process to build trust and confidence.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Work closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless communication and a unified customer experience.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously update your knowledge on the latest industry trends, best practices, and technologies to provide innovative solutions to our customers.

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles: Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences in a live chat or customer support environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Product knowledge and expertise: In-depth knowledge of our brand, products, and services, with a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest developments.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in using live chat software, CRM systems, and other customer service tools.
  • Flexibility and adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field: Relevant degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.

  • Experience with CRM systems: Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Certifications or training: Relevant certifications, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Live Chat Agent (CLCA).
