Job Summary
As a Concierge Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences that exceed expectations. You'll be the face of our organization, providing timely, accurate, and compassionate support to our clients and customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat. Your expertise will be sought after by internal stakeholders, including our sales, marketing, and product development teams, to inform product enhancements and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to telephone and email inquiries from members and providers within defined service standards, providing timely and accurate resolutions to their concerns
- Negotiate with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out of network providers, leveraging your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and drive results
- Assist members with benefits and healthcare questions, demonstrating a deep understanding of our products and services
- Document all calls received in system-based call logs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to inform product enhancements and improve overall customer satisfaction
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management, including but not limited to, special projects and initiatives
Requirements and Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of college or higher education preferred
- 1 year of customer service or call center experience in a healthcare-related role, with a strong focus on medical intake or third-party administrator (TPA) experience
- Bilingual English-Spanish a plus, but not required
- Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations tactfully and diplomatically
- Proficient with Microsoft applications, with strong computer skills and navigation
- Excellent data entry and typing skills, with the ability to multitask and anticipate potential needs/problems
- Knowledge of provider organizations and networks, as well as CMS Medicare reimbursement rates
- Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures and build relationships with internal and external customers
- Medical terminology and strong analytical and research skills a plus
- Claim processing skills, insurance verification, or precertification experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of self-funded health benefits a plus
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This position is in a typical office/home office environment, requiring prolonged sitting in front of a computer. You'll need hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment, including standard computer and phone equipment.
