Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Risk Management Director at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading our data science and business analytics efforts, driving business strategy and decision-making through the analysis of complex data, and developing innovative risk management solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and executing business procedures and risk management strategies, utilizing agency business or customer data
• Driving the investigation of and analysis of structured and unstructured data, and deciphering information using statistical, financial, AI, or business knowledge procedures
• Collaborating with technology and other teams on the integration and implementation of risk management approaches and business systems
• Identifying and assessing new data sources (controlled and non-controlled) that could add incremental value to arenaflex's products and services
• Advancing the use of industry and internal best practices and incorporating administrative feedback on a case-by-case basis to drive consistent improvement in risk management systems and documentation

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Business Administration, Operations Research, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in risk analysis and data analysis to drive business strategy. Your experience should include:

• 1 year of experience in deciphering complex analyses for technical and non-technical audiences
• 1 year of experience working with technical, scientific, business, and non-technical teams
• 1 year of experience in process improvement and automation, using advanced algorithms and models, and driving innovative initiatives
• 1 year of experience in SQL query development, including execution tuning, stored procedure improvement, and complex query development
• 1 year of experience in data set design and data control languages, including SQL and SAS
• 1 year of experience in organizing and handling qualitative and quantitative data to make decisions
• 1 year of experience in needs gathering, estimation, and automation
• 1 year of experience in Cognos, ETL tools, including SSIS, Python, R, Tableau, Teradata, MS Excel for data reporting and modeling, Prophet, and VBA
