The Toxicology Department at arenaflex
Our Toxicology Department is a fast-paced and inspiring environment where you'll work alongside a talented team of professionals dedicated to ensuring the safety and efficacy of medical products. As a Data Entry Operator, you'll play a critical role in supporting our laboratory operations, working closely with our team to ensure the accurate and timely processing of patient samples and data.
Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join our Toxicology team. As a Data Entry Operator, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our automated systems, resolving errors and discrepancies, and generating reports to support our laboratory operations. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Input data from images, requisitions, and other sources into the computer using an alpha-numeric and ten-key keyboard.
- Serve as a problem-solver by identifying errors, routing errors to the appropriate areas, and interpreting data to ensure the correct test codes or medications are entered correctly.
- Generate reports from various systems to be used for troubleshooting issues as well as determining volume of work to be completed.
- Image data into the appropriate image systems.
- Ensure test requisition forms are maintained and banker boxes are documented in accordance with retention criteria.
- Work closely with Clinical Filing on basic needs to perform outcomes of particular issues.
- Be cross-trained on incumbent tasks within the department and be scheduled on a rotating basis.
- Work closely with leadership on change processes and quality initiatives.
- Perform continuing education in Learning Path and Master Control.
Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of data entry experience preferred.
- The ability to interpret information between different medical forms.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to produce highly accurate work.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Able to work independently within a team under general supervision.
- Ability to work overtime as required by departmental needs.

Schedule
* 1st shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (Some Overtime is required)
