Business Development Manager, E&I

This role will be based out of our Spring, TX office! Job Summary: The Business Development Manager – E&I Services (Electrical & Inustrumentation) is responsible for driving market growth and strategic customer acquisition. This role focuses on expanding Strike’s footprint across the industrial electrical and instrumentation construction & maintenance market, while identifying and securing new business opportunities. This individual will play a key role in positioning Strike as a leader in E&I solutions for midstream, upstream, downstream, and other energy infrastructure clients. Primary Responsibilities: Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities specifically within the E&I sector, including oil & gas, pipeline, compressor stations, terminals, downstream facilities, and renewables. Promote and sell Strike’s core E&I services, such as: - Low- and medium-voltage industrial electrical construction and maintenance - Facility power and emergency systems Instrumentation and DCS system construction and maintenance Gas analysis, fire & gas detection, and telecommunications Establish and maintain relationships with key industry clients, EPCs, and oil and gas operators to generate project leads. Develop tailored proposals and negotiate contracts aligned with both client goals and Strike’s operational capabilities. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and estimating teams to scope projects and ensure alignment with customer requirements. Track market trends and competitor activity in E&I services, recommending strategic actions to maintain Strike’s competitive edge. Maintain detailed activity within CRM systems and report regularly on sales pipeline development, wins, and performance metrics. Represent Strike Operating Company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 5+ years of business development experience with most recent experience handling E&I services or industrial construction, preferably within energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure markets. Skills & Competencies: Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships within the E&I service industry. Deep understanding of electrical, controls, and instrumentation project scopes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools; familiarity with SharePoint is a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. Additional Requirements: Must comply with all Strike Operating Company policies and safety practices.
