Energy Assessors (Permanent Dayshift, Remote)

This is a remote position. PERMANENT DAYSHIFT, REMOTE-WFH PHILIPPINES1 Job Description- Thermal Building & Design Consultant Reports to: Director Job Overview: Assess new buildings and renovations for thermal performance to meet building compliance as required by the National Construction Code (NCC), National Home Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS) and BASIX. Identifying cost effective solutions and providing improved performance solutions to meet and exceed compliance as required. Providing a high level of customer service at all times ensuring the assessments, the advice and certified documentation is delivered in a timely and accurate manner. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct new assessments using accredited NatHERS Software
• Keep abreast of regulatory and industry changes and requirements. Ensure

to all assessments are conducted within the current rules and regulations.

• Undergo ongoing training and maintain proficiency in all Accredited NatHERS

approved software as and when required.

• Conduct quality assurance reviews of contracted and company employee

assessors’ assessments and your own assessments. Accredit the work to meet compliance. Ensuring that all assessments will satisfy an external audit, if required, to the best of your ability.

• Discuss assessment results and offer professional advice with clients by

phone, by video conference or face to face as required from time to time, commensurate with your ability. Always ensuring that you represent Frys Energywise at the highest level.

• Conduct BASIX assessment and certification of projects as required from

time to time. Responsibilities and Duties cont:

• Conduct additional regulatory assessments commensurate to your abilities as

required from time to time. Including but not limited to EDS Management Plans, Section J Deemed to Satisfy Assessments, NatHERS Whole of Home.

• Provide training to others in regulatory assessments, commensurate to your

ability and training as required.

• Maintain a high level of customer service with all written and verbal

communication with clients and external suppliers and contractors.

• Engage in team meetings and provide input to the benefit of the business as

and when required.

• Be aware of job costings and profit margins and report on areas of the

business where you identify margins are not being maintained.

• Maintain accreditation in NatHERS Thermal Assessment and Building

Designer. Completing all necessary Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities as required to maintain accreditation. Qualifications: NatHERS Certificate IV is nice to have Berspro experience is required Hero experience is an advantage only Apply To This Job
