This position has the opportunity to interface with and have a positive impact on multiple areas of Wintrust's business We hold ourselves accountable to high standards, share wins, operate ethically, and have fun Position Overview The Principal Program Manager is a senior program management position and serves as a key subject matter expert for organizing and coordinating the strategic and technical aspects of projects and programs related to the business line. They are leaders. Leading from the front and learning from past successes and failures, they are accountable for ensuring their overall program, and supporting projects, consistently deliver business value, align with business and technical strategy, and provide an exceptional customer experience for our business partners. Program Managers lead the program’s strategy, implementation, and delegation and will work closely with business resources and stakeholders, internal technology teams, and various vendors and third-party consultants and implementers. The Program Manager will organize, coordinate, and provide status for the strategic and technical aspects of overall program and supporting projects to ensure delivery of current and future business needs. Collaborates with functional areas for effective use of resources to meet business needs. What You’ll Do Develop proactive relationships with senior leaders of supported business units that are built on trust, transparent communication, and a spirit of collaboration Support the outcomes the business line is seeking and help develop business requirements and business cases as needed Represent the voice of the customer (business unit) during the technology project life cycles. Ensure IT tasks are meeting committed timelines. Ensure stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the projects and serve as an escalation point to raise critical action items or issues Partner with business units and teams across IT to remove project roadblocks and accelerate high priority initiatives Collaborates with cross-departmental technology areas and business teams to ensure effective and efficient delivery of large projects and efforts May include management of a team or other Program Managers Assist in team leadership, acting as deputy to team leader and assisting in the cross training and knowledge sharing across the Program Management team. Qualifications 10+ years working in a fast-paced organizational environment with special emphasis on coordinating large cross functional programs and stakeholder management. Direct financial services experience is desirable, as well as experience in IT Services 8 or more years of management experience in which one or more of the following has occurred: Demonstrated high competency in the prioritization of various competing deliveries of efforts Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management Experience in managing resources to meet goals across multiple projects Experience in leading multidisciplinary, high-performance work teams/groups Demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems Working knowledge of general IT, and business operations Must possess exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $117,000.00 - $158,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus.
