WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects within the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met on time, within budget, and with high quality. The Senior Project Manager will utilize project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to drive project success, manage risks, and effectively communicate project status and progress to stakeholders. HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets using project management software and tools. Allocate resources, including team members and external vendors, to ensure project tasks are assigned and completed effectively. Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed. Communicate project updates, status, and key milestones to stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project documentation including charters, requirements, change requests, and lessons learned—ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Conduct regular project meetings to facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project performance and applying best practices and lessons learned. Ensure high-quality project delivery that meets stakeholder expectations and delivers value to the organization. Provide coaching and mentorship to project managers, supporting professional growth within the PMO team. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field; master’s degree is a plus. 7+ years of experience in project management or a related field (e.g., Consulting, Finance, Operations, Portfolio Management) with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and SAFe development processes. PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in project management software and tools for managing plans, timelines, and resources. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. Ability to develop and execute change management strategies at various organizational levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Experience creating project budgets and assessing financial data across projects and programs. This role will work a remote location within the United States.
