Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in assisting customers with filing claims for extended warranties and protection plans. You'll be the face of our company, providing exceptional support, resolving issues, and building strong relationships with our customers. Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner
- Following communication "scripts" when handling different topics
- Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and/or alternatives
- Skillfully changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
- Being available at your desk, maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times
- Remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions
- Accessing company and client resources provided to accurately handle the call
- Flexibility to cross-train as requested
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 1 year of customer service experience required
- 1 year of previous call center or office background experience preferred
- Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
- Maintaining composure in challenging situations
- Ability to use technology effectively and productively
- Previous remote work from home experience a plus
- Quick learner and able to work independently
- Type 35 words per minute accurately
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
- A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required
Equipment and Hardware Requirements
To ensure you have the necessary tools to excel in this role, we'll provide:
- A Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) option, where you'll need to provide your own equipment and workspace
- A company-provided equipment option, where we'll provide the necessary hardware and software
Hardware/Software Requirements
To ensure seamless performance, you'll need:
- Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater
- Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits
- Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, dual monitors required
- USB headset
- No Chromebooks, netbooks, or any type of tablet (Must be a laptop or a desktop)
- Up-to-date antivirus software must be installed on the platform and a recent scan completed
- Firewall must be enabled
Work Environment and Culture
As a remote worker, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. Our team is collaborative, supportive, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. Pay and Benefits
As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy:
- Starting pay: $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & weekends) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
- Work hours: 9:00am-7:00pm (EST); Work Days Mon-Fri & Every Other Sat 9a-2p
- Paid Training: typically 2 weeks from 9:00am-6:00pm Mon-Fri (EST)
- Status: Full Time; Benefit eligible 1st of month after 60 days
