Key Responsibilities:
As a Bilingual Customer Service Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:
- Assessing family eligibility for childcare financial assistance and subsidy programs
- Providing clear, culturally sensitive information about available childcare options and local providers
- Accurately entering and managing data in online systems to maintain integrity and compliance
- Supporting families in navigating complex childcare systems with empathy and professionalism
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure service quality and timely support
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Health and Human Services, Call Center, or Client Support role
- Bilingual fluency in English and one of the following: Spanish, Portuguese, or Creole
- Experience working with diverse communities and multilingual populations
- Familiarity with intake or eligibility processes in social service settings
Nice-to-Have:
While not required, prior experience in the following areas will be beneficial:
- Prior work with childcare programs, family assistance services, or community outreach
- Exposure to case management systems or client databases
- Knowledge of Massachusetts childcare subsidy programs
