Job Summary

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, and driving sales growth through effective product knowledge and presentation. You will work closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions, and recommend the right solutions. You will also be expected to maintain a high level of product knowledge, stay up-to-date with new products and technologies, and ensure that the store is always well-stocked and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing personalized solutions
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date with new products, technologies, and industry trends
  • Ensure that the store is always well-stocked and visually appealing, maintaining a high level of product presentation and display
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, following company policies and procedures
  • Meet or exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, contributing to the success of the store
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets, share knowledge, and provide support
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills

Essential Qualifications

* Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends
  • If internal to arenaflex, must have received at least a "meets expectations" (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisal
  • If internal to arenaflex, must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position

Preferred Qualifications

* Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License

  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment

  • Strong product knowledge and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with new products and technologies
