Job Description

As an Accounts Receivable Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounts receivable tasks in the Accounting Department. Your primary duties will include:

  • Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter data into our computer system using defined computer programs, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
  • Agency Remittance Reports: Review and process agency remittance reports, ensuring timely and accurate payment to our clients.
  • Policy Information: Update and maintain policy information, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and compliant with industry regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all financial operations are in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency

  • Review and process agency remittance reports in a timely manner
  • Update and maintain policy information in accordance with industry regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Department to achieve financial goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

* Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field
  • Skills: Proficient in data entry software and computer systems; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Certifications: Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field
  • Skills: Proficient in financial software and systems; experience with financial analysis and reporting; strong leadership and team management skills
  • Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
