Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist – Aviation Safety and Operations

Job Summary:

arenaflex is seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our Safety team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for processing reviews, collecting data, creating reports, and investigating activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. You'll work closely with our Safety Department Managers to identify trends and areas for improvement, and collaborate with our Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) Monitoring Team to oversee aircraft data collection and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as a subject matter expert for Safety Programs, collaborating with Safety Department Managers to identify and address safety concerns

• Review, analyze, and investigate all reports acquired through our safety reporting system (Operational/Irregularity, ASAP, Fatigue)
• Analyze technical data from hazards, activities, and occurrences to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Act as a safety auditor for the Internal Evaluation Program, Safety Investigations, and accelerated hazard areas of operations
• Track, analyze, and interpret data outputs from our safety programs
• Assist with the management of our company databases to enhance airline safety
• Provide technical expertise to Management on data models, database design, and data mining
• Prepare reports and present safety-related data to managers and line employees to support our Safety Management System (SMS)
• Assist with the development, implementation, and control of our Safety Management System (SMS)
• Collaborate with the FOQA Monitoring Team to oversee aircraft data collection and analysis, and maintain the FOQA database to ensure compliance with FOQA guidelines
• Assist with the continuous development of our risk identification and safety hazard evaluation schemes
• Prepare research reports on aviation safety trends

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., aviation, safety, data analysis)

• Strong knowledge of Aviation Safety programs (ASAP, FOQA, LOSA, FRMP, IEP, VDRP)
• Operational familiarity with Flight Operations, Dispatch, Inflight, and Maintenance
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, minimum system lists, aircraft dispatch procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations
• Knowledge of Safety Management System requirements, hazard control, safety assurance, safety reporting, and safety promotion
• Basic knowledge of Crew Resource Management principles and aviation human factors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products
• Excellent writing skills, including report writing, document writing, and correspondence with regulatory agencies
• Excellent verbal, presentation, and educational skills
• Strong technical and data analysis skills, with the ability to perform statistical analysis and audits

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in airline operations

• FAA aircraft dispatcher, pilot, and/or A&P certificate
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
