Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry and Information Modeler to join our Design and Enablement Services team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading change and driving vital initiatives for a leading transportation and logistics supplier. This role is centered around long-term information engineering and architecture across the Worldwide Surface portfolio, and you'll work closely with business and IT engineers to survey influences, decay key drivers, and analyze design choices and compromises.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure overall information management concerns are addressed in the solution: data acquisition, data integration, data administration, data quality, data dissemination, data capacity and maintenance, data security, data coordination, reference and expert data management, analysis, and metadata management.
• Adjust data and information models to business, solution, and technical structures at the portfolio and solution train levels.
• Lead identification of reusable data services to speed up delivery of value and eliminate data replication.
• Collaborate with plan DBAs and solution engineers to provide guidance on proper plans and changes to implemented data structures.
• Provide applied and detailed design of data structures for data at rest (databases) and data in motion (API interfaces, messages).
• Establish and precisely report data lineage regarding solution engineering, data analysis, and arenaflex's three-level architecture (External Edge, Internal Edge, Strong Core).
• Collaborate with data analysis associations (EDA and DataWorks) and business areas to leverage data lakes to determine insights into operational efficiencies.
• Define compositional patterns and stage rules to ingest and operationalize data scientific capabilities.
• Collaborate with actual plan database managers to execute and implement stage guidelines.
• Support affected application engineers and coordinated release trains during execution.

Essential Qualifications

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in data engineering, software development, and data frameworks. The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor's degree in software engineering, design, data frameworks, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of comparable work experience in data innovation or design climate.
• A connected postgraduate education may counterbalance the connected experience requirement.

Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in data engineering, software development, and data frameworks. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience across all stages of data modeling, from conceptualization to data set optimization.
• Deep knowledge of data integration concepts, approaches, and tools to effectively implement data integration methodologies.
• Data virtualization, analysis, and integration strategies.
• Applied data modeling strategies.
• Data execution development and modeling.
• Experience with implementing engineering standards and design patterns.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and data services.
• Experience with business and enterprise engineering structures like BIZBOK and TOGAF.
• Experience with end-to-end solution engineering for data capabilities, including.
• Familiar understanding of best practices for supporting data lakes, shared services, and logical designs.
• Experience with continuous and batch data ingestion.
• Demonstrated expertise in working in large environments like RDBMS, EDW, NoSQL, etc.
• Working knowledge of data modeling tools (ideally Sparx, ER/Studio).
• Involved experience with various data technologies, including Prophet, Data Stax/Cassandra, Redis, Kafka (at least 3 years).
