Key Responsibilities
As a Ticket/Gate Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for ensuring their journey is seamless and enjoyable. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers, checking in their baggage, and assisting with ticketing and boarding processes
- Operating loading bridges, opening and closing aircraft doors, and securing the aircraft
- Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport
- Tagging and lifting baggage from scales to conveyor belts (up to 70 pounds)
- Making gate announcements and ensuring customers have accurate travel documentation
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient and safe airport operations

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data
- Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
- Proficiency in English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
- Possess basic digital literacy
- Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
- Pass a Customer Service Assessment
- Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
