We're now seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic team in an evening shift role (3-7pm CT). About the Position As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. You'll be responsible for entering and verifying work-related information using computers and point of sale systems, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies. Responsibilities As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include: * Entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems * Transmitting information or documents using a computer * Reading and visually verifying information in various formats for accuracy and completeness * Entering and retrieving information from computer databases to update records and answer inquiries * Verifying information in documents or on computer screens for accuracy * Operating standard office equipment such as telephones, fax machines, and photocopiers * Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets * Preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely * Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others * Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards * Identifying and recommending new ways to increase organizational efficiency and productivity * Following all company safety and security policies and procedures Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: * The ability to enter and retrieve information accurately using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball * Proficiency in operating standard office equipment * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry * The ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Nice-to-Haves While not essential, experience in a similar administrative role and familiarity with point of sale systems would be beneficial in this position.
