Job Summary

As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our customers, assessing their needs, and providing assistance with product recommendations. You'll learn about our products and services, and work closely with your Department Supervisor and other associates to ensure that every customer leaves our stores satisfied. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs and providing assistance with product recommendations

  • Learn about arenaflex products and services, and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions
  • Work closely with Department Supervisors and other associates to ensure that every customer leaves our stores satisfied
  • Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring that they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards
  • Complete specified safety training and immediately correct hazards and unsafe conditions
  • Work safely to avoid endangering yourself, co-workers, vendors, or customers
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service and sales experiences
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience; experience in retail or home improvement industry a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

* Experience with sales software and technology

  • Knowledge of home improvement products and services
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
