Job Description
We're currently hiring an Experienced Part-Time Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a vital role in supporting our accounting and bookkeeping services. You'll have the opportunity to learn new skills, work with a talented team, and enjoy a flexible work schedule that accommodates your unique needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Learn and utilize QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other accounting applications to perform data entry tasks
- Download financial statements, enter transactions, and reconcile bank accounts
- Conduct basic financial reviews and ensure accuracy and attention to detail
- Respond promptly to emails and messages from the team and work collaboratively to resolve issues
- Work independently to find solutions and share knowledge with the team
- Participate in ongoing education and training to expand your knowledge and skills
Essential Qualifications
* 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to learn new software and applications quickly
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) or other accounting software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Certification in accounting or bookkeeping (e.g., CPA, CMA)
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
