As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:- Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested
- Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service
- Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items
- Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss
- Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
- Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
- Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
- Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products
- Assuming web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers
- Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance
- Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers
- Completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- A basic understanding of retail operations and customer service principles
- The ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:- Previous retail or customer service experience
- A degree in a related field, such as business or marketing
- Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of store systems and store equipment
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
