Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment, and contributing to the overall success of our stores. You'll work closely with our store teams to maintain a clean, well-stocked store, assist with merchandise receiving and stocking, and provide exceptional customer service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive shopping experience for all customers

  • Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor
  • Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are easily accessible and visible to customers
  • Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, responding promptly to any concerns or issues that may arise
  • Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including participating in visual merchandising, maintaining store displays, and assisting with inventory management

Position Requirements

* Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned

  • Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and priorities

  • Job Knowledge: Familiarity with retail operations, including merchandise receiving, stocking, and inventory management
  • Relationship Management: Ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management, with a focus on driving customer loyalty and retention
