Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex data to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop data-driven solutions to drive business growth. Your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and communication will help us make informed decisions and drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with record groups and contracting teams to identify and segregate changes resulting from over/under payment practices and incorporate these into actual-to-anticipated results
- Aid the development and implementation of creative information visualization techniques to communicate complex data insights to various audience levels
- Develop and maintain automated processes to identify data and interaction integrity issues, providing detailed recommendations for issue resolution
- Aid the development of convenient, creative, objective analysis that leads to truth-based answers for critical business issues
- Plan and deliver standard and ad-hoc service reports and presentations for projects, using query-based tools to create and run queries for data mining and analysis
- Perform specific tasks identified in the compliance monitoring system, including assessment of definitions, cost increase maintenance, and organization ID
- Provide customer support to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction
- Work closely with peers in Sales, Finance, Regulation, Contracting, and Contracting Teams
Essential Capabilities
* Experience working with internal and external resources to aid the development of processes and project designs that meet division objectives within budget and established timelines
- Experience establishing and maintaining key relationships with internal (peers, colleagues, and leadership) and external (business community, clients, and vendors) stakeholders to ensure quality standards for service
- Experience creating approaches to achieve objectives with minimal oversight, relying on oneself to resolve issues to ensure successful outcomes and determining when acceleration of issues is necessary
- Experience using time management skills, such as prioritizing/coordinating and tracking details and meeting time constraints of multiple projects with varying completion dates
- Experience in diagnosing, separating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing solutions to resolve issues
- Experience with analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions
- High-level expertise in Microsoft Excel (e.g., using Normal function, combining and focusing cells, printing focused page, and creating a pivot table)
- High-level ability in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., changing picture styles, altering animation, and setting automated slide timings)
- High-level expertise in Microsoft Word (e.g., adding engineer tab, creating a full-scale, designing table style, embedding comments, or creating a mail merge)
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the ideal time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
Preferred Capabilities
* Graduate degree
- Four-year certification in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Systems
- Knowledge of advanced coding languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, C++, etc.)
- Experience with system administration (e.g., Master, Vendavo, Vistaar, Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Wikis, etc.)
- Experience with business intelligence tools alongside data analysis (e.g., Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, Master, etc.)
- Experience with training, coaching, and developing staff
- Knowledge of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Advantage Manager, Advantage Consultancy, or Managed Care organization
- Experience with working with pharmacy data at a retail pharmacy, Pharmacy Advantage Manager, benefit consultancy, or managed care organization
- Knowledge of pharmacy industry pricing
- Experience with project management (e.g., planning, coordinating, and overseeing resources to achieve successful completion of specific project objectives and goals)
- Knowledge of systems like Cure and GIS
- Experience with data extraction, data mining, data acquisition, data profiling, and data warehouse management
- Experience in a data warehouse/business intelligence/decision support network environment or IT experience
- Knowledge of statistical concepts and data mining methods
