Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries, ensuring that each interaction is personalized and tailored to meet their unique needs
  • Providing exceptional customer service through active listening, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach
  • Working with confidential customer information and treating it with the utmost sensitivity and respect
  • Proactively resolving issues on the first call, leveraging your problem-solving skills and creative thinking to find innovative solutions
  • Appropriately communicating with customers, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding and resolution of issues
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, using your conflict resolution skills to turn negative experiences into positive outcomes
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring that complex issues are addressed promptly and effectively
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, maintaining accurate records and providing valuable insights to improve our services
  • Providing feedback on call issues, helping to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous quality enhancement

Requirements

To succeed as a Mechanical Customer Service Expert, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, leveraging technology to stay connected and collaborate with colleagues
  • 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a mechanical or technical field
  • Over 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to type 25 wpm, with strong keyboarding skills and accuracy
  • High school graduate or GED, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and relevant software applications
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations, identify root causes, and develop creative solutions
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software

While the following qualifications are not essential, they're highly desirable for success in this role:

  • Experience working in a mechanical or technical field, with a strong understanding of related products and services
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services, with a passion for delivering exceptional support and driving customer satisfaction
  • Certification in customer service, conflict resolution, or a related field
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
