Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist 1, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing efficient and courteous customer service through telephone and personal contact, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.
  • Answering customer inquiries regarding collections, rates, billing, and account status, and resolving their complaints through effective communication and service coordination.
  • Maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and performing clerical duties as needed to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participating in training related to customer service processes and safety to ensure optimal service delivery and compliance with arenaflex policies.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide exceptional service experiences.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and arenaflex policies to continuously improve customer service delivery.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • At least six months of related experience or training in customer service, with a strong focus on resolving complex customer issues.
  • A high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer programs, particularly the Microsoft Office suite, with experience in data entry and payment reconciliation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and resolve their inquiries.
  • A commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and the WASTE ZERO philosophy.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment, with a strong focus on resolving complex customer issues.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and systems, such as CRM platforms and customer service management tools.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field, such as the Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) designation.
  • Experience working in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
