Key Responsibilities

As a Contract Data Entry Assistant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Data Input: Accurately typing information from handwritten documents, phone calls, or recordings into our computer system.
  • Scanning and Data Entry: Scanning documents and entering data into our online database.
  • Patient Data Recording: Recording data from patients directly into our online system.
  • Data Management: Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our computerized records systems.
  • Data Verification: Verifying data by comparing source documents.
  • Data Updates: Updating existing data.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assisting with tasks similar to those of an administrative assistant, such as answering phone calls, sorting mail, and greeting patients or visitors.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Creating accurate spreadsheets, retrieving data or electronic files, compiling, sorting, and verifying accuracy of demographic, financial, and/or customer data before it is entered.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Contract Data Entry Assistant, you'll need:

  • Strong Typing Skills: A minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Basic Computer Proficiency: Proficiency with basic computer software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
