Job Summary
As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, providing courteous and efficient checkout service, and modeling customer service best practices to your colleagues. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service, and that our store is always clean, well-merchandised, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience
+ Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. + Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. + Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Operations
+ Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. + Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items. + Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash and distribute change as requested. + Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. + Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. + Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader. + Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. + Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).
Visual Merchandising
+ Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. + Complete resets and revisions as directed.
Photo Services
+ Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
Web Pick-up and Maintenance
+ Assume web pick-up responsibilities (monitors orders in Picture Care Plus, fills orders (pick items), delivers orders to customers as they arrive at store). + Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
Training & Personal Development
+ Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in a pharmacy or health care setting.
- Knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
