Job Summary

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry & Customer Service (2nd Shift) On-Site Full Time at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy team in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our medication dispensing process. You will work closely with our pharmacists and other team members to triage customer service requests, calculate and verify correct dosages, and maintain accurate customer records. Responsibilities

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry & Customer Service (2nd Shift) On-Site Full Time at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
• Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
• Providing dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our medication dispensing process
• Providing exceptional customer service to our customers and colleagues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
• Prior experience in the long-term care industry (preferred)
• PTCB National Certification (preferred)
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience are preferred:

• Additional experience in data entry and customer service
• Prior experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy software and systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
