Job Summary

As a Lead Retail Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience, managing production flow, and providing leadership to team members on an assigned shift. You'll work closely with customers to understand their needs, recommend solutions, and ensure that their orders are completed accurately and on time. In addition, you'll be responsible for coordinating shipping activities, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a positive experience

  • Manage production flow to ensure that all production orders are completed accurately and on time
  • Take customer orders, provide pricing information, and recommend FedEx Office products and services
  • Coordinate shipping activities, including pick-up and delivery of customer orders
  • Provide leadership to team members on an assigned shift, including training and development
  • Assist in the training of store team members
  • Collate, sort, and organize customer orders
  • Operate the Point of Sale terminal (POS), handle financial transactions, and make change
  • Complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting
  • Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions
  • Follow FedEx Office standard operating procedures and adhere to legal, HR, safety, and security policies and procedures

Essential Functions

* Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods

  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business

Preferred Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent education

  • 2+ years of specialized experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership to team members
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized store environment
