Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management and Moderation Specialist

Job Description:

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and adhere to our community guidelines
• Deleting messages that violate our rules, including but not limited to:

+ Hate speech and harassment + Spam and self-promotion + Inflammatory or divisive content

• Banning users who repeatedly violate our rules, after a thorough investigation and warning process
• Muting users who have violated our rules, to prevent further disruption
• Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations, and taking swift and fair action when necessary
• Collaborating with our community team to develop and implement effective moderation strategies
• Providing excellent customer service and support to our community members, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Pay and Benefits:

* Hourly rate: $12.50 per hour

• Pay cycle: Weekly, starting from Monday and ending on Sunday

Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in community management, moderation, or customer service

• Familiarity with arenaflex's mission and values
• Strong knowledge of online safety and security best practices
• Experience with social media management and content creation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
