Part-Time Remote Administrative Assistant (AP / Order Processing / Excel)
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day operations in a food manufacturing business. This is a part-time, remote role with consistent weekly hours. This position is best suited for someone with prior administrative or accounting experience who prefers a steady, structured, part-time schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Accounts Payable invoices accurately and on time
- Enter and manage customer orders
- Issue and track purchase orders
- Maintain organized digital records
- Work within Excel and internal systems for data entry and tracking
- Communicate clearly regarding task status and any discrepancies
Requirements
- Prior experience in administrative support, bookkeeping, or accounts payable
- Strong Excel skills (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable learning and using new software tools, including AI-assisted tools
- Reliable and consistent availability during scheduled hours
- Strong written communication
Preferred
- Experience with ERP systems or order processing systems
- Background in food, manufacturing, or distribution environments
- Prior remote work experience
