Job Summary

We're seeking an Experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team, responsible for researching and responding to written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and responding to written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
  • Utilizing Microsoft suite to manage data entry tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data security protocols
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in data entry and provider network contracting
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing in a healthcare or health insurance environment
  • Experience in provider outreach, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft suite
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • 5 years of experience in provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing
  • 6 months of data entry experience in an office environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
