Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to join our AWS IT Services Support team. As a key member of our global organization, you'll play a critical role in defining and delivering exceptional customer experiences. With a strong background in technical leadership and a passion for innovation, you'll help us drive business growth and improvement through strategic planning, process optimization, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

As an IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Managing local and/or remote resources to ensure seamless IT support for Amazon employees worldwide
• Collaborating with the global organization to define and deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Developing and leveraging knowledge bases to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
• Identifying opportunities for automation, documentation, and process improvement to reduce requests and enhance efficiency
• Setting high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
• Guiding the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
• 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
• A Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
• Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms
• Strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices
