The Role

We're seeking an experienced Data Protection & Privacy Analyst to join our team. As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data. You'll work closely with our team to design, develop, and implement data protection and privacy solutions that meet the highest standards of security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze and assess data protection and privacy risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

• Design and implement data protection and privacy solutions that meet regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data protection and privacy compliance
• Develop and maintain data protection and privacy policies and procedures
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure data protection and privacy compliance
• Provide training and support to employees on data protection and privacy best practices
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field
• A strong understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, both locally and globally
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management
• The ability to work in a dynamic environment to strict deadlines, with the potential to handle multiple tasks concurrently
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Reliable, punctual attendance is a critical aspect of this role

Preferred Qualifications

* CISA certification

• Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
• Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
• Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
• Ability to interpret noncompliance and determine its effect on levels of risk and/or average effectiveness of the organization's cybersecurity program
• Hands-on experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and product capabilities
