Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences, resolving issues, and answering questions from plan sponsors, members, and providers. You'll work from home, using your skills and expertise to build trusting relationships with our customers and deliver personalized support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer questions and resolve issues: Respond to phone calls from plan sponsors, members, and providers, providing customized interaction based on customer preference and individualized needs.

  • Build trusting relationships: Fully understand the member's needs by building a trusting and caring relationship with the member.
  • Anticipate customer needs: Provide the customer with related information to answer the unasked questions, e.g., additional plan details, benefit plan details, member self-service tools, etc.
  • Use customer service threshold framework: Make financial decisions to resolve member issues using the customer service threshold framework.
  • Educate and assist customers: Educate and assist customers on various elements of benefit plan information and available services created to enhance the overall customer service experience with the company.
  • Utilize all relevant information: Effectively influence member engagement by utilizing all relevant information.
  • Take immediate action: Take immediate action when confronted with a problem or made aware of a situation.
  • Take ownership of each customer contact: Resolve customer issues and connect them with additional services as appropriate.
  • Identify member needs: Identify member needs beyond the initial inquiry by answering the unasked questions.
  • Resolve issues without or with limited management intervention: Resolve issues without or with limited management intervention.
  • Provide education to members: Provide education to members to support them in managing their health.
  • Respond quickly to meet customer needs: Respond quickly to meet customer needs and resolve problems while avoiding over-committing.
  • Other activities: Provide claim status information, benefit coverage interpretations, and explain plan eligibility.

Essential Qualifications

* Customer Service experience: Customer Service experiences in a transaction-based environment such as a call center or retail location preferred, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate.

  • Location: Must live in the East Coast in Eastern Time zone.
  • Education: High School Diploma Required.
