Key Responsibilities
As a Network Protection Examiner Understudy, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, including:
- Collaborating with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes to develop high-quality technical solutions
- Ensuring solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business strategies, and departmental standards
- Managing project timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget
- Serving as a resource to facilitate effective communication between business and innovation teams
- Participating in system and acceptance testing
- Extending your work scope based on team projects
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fundamental knowledge of data security and threat relief standards, theories, and strategies
- Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm (desirable)
- Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Administration, Risk and Compliance (GRC) (desirable)
- Essential knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement (desirable)
- Major understanding of project management systems, including the ability to design, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program (desirable)
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders (desirable)
- Fundamental knowledge of technical environments (desirable)
- Openness to Agile philosophies (desirable)
- Coursework or experience related to Network Security (desirable)
- Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines
- Past investigator entry-level position experience within the past year (desirable)
- Experience resolving business issues in a capstone or case competition (desirable)
