About the Job
As a Client Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Client Platform, focusing on Windows and ChromeOS endpoint management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and refine processes, tools, and technologies that drive efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will be essential in shaping the future of arenaflex's Client Platform, ensuring it remains cutting-edge, secure, and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement endpoint management solutions for Windows and ChromeOS, ensuring seamless integration with arenaflex's existing infrastructure
- Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and automation processes to streamline endpoint management, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with the IT Foundation Engineering team to ensure alignment with arenaflex's overall IT strategy and architecture
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges, develop solutions, and implement changes
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to the development of best practices, and maintain high-quality code standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in endpoint management and Client Platform engineering
- Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment
Essential Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in endpoint management, Client Platform engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Windows and ChromeOS endpoint management, including MDM (Mobile Device Management) and VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or GoLang
- Familiarity with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines and automation tools
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with enterprise MDM solutions, such as Microsoft Intune or VMware Workspace ONE
- Familiarity with cloud-based services, such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
- Certification in endpoint management, Client Platform engineering, or a related field
