Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our team in a remote role. As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying trends and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control division. You will work closely with our team to analyze data, create reports, and develop recommendations for process improvements that align with our organization's goals.
Responsibilities
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
- Helping to create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
- Assisting in exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.
- Presenting findings, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
- Helping to create and disseminate specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
- Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team.
- Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors.
- Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
- May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as data analysis, statistics, or business administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with precision and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas to diverse audiences.
- Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in data visualization tools and capacities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase.
- Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
- Willingness to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications
* Past internship, capstone project, or research experience in a related field.
- Experience working in a data-driven environment, with a focus on quality control and process improvement.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and capacities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase.
- Experience with PowerPoint, with the ability to build presentations for verbal communications.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
