Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative – Virtual Assistant to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. As a key member of our guest relations and operations team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, resolving issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our business. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative – Virtual Assistant, you'll be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

GUEST RELATIONS

+ Experience with Guesty and/or Operto Teams is a plus + Ability to leverage AI for comprehensive guest messaging that resonates as our brand with our travelers. MUST have deep familiarity leveraging ChatGPT + Must be comfortable speaking English on the phone and have the ability to use a VoiP to speak with guests and vendors + Screen Potential Guests + Provide Support For Guests / Resolve guest's issues in Airbnb, VRBO or Marriott + Respond To Guest Inquiries + Communicate and escalate issues to Management via Slack + Achieving 5-star ratings and Superhost Status + Write and respond to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO or other platforms

COMPANY TASKS

+ Report maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams + Report and submit damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement + Build, manage and report in-house maintenance labor + Working knowledge of business financials/accounting to assist the onboard of accounting systems + Experience in 3rd party vendor relations for tertiary market management

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in English with perfect grammar and spelling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience with Guesty and/or Operto Teams is a plus
  • Deep familiarity with leveraging ChatGPT
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment and use technology to communicate with guests and vendors

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

  • Experience with Airbnb, VRBO, or Marriott
  • Knowledge of business financials and accounting principles
  • Experience in 3rd party vendor relations
  • Familiarity with Operto Teams and Guesty Shield

Note

This is a part-time, temp position starting Mid-October for 3 months with the possibility of moving to a more permanent schedule starting in January 2025. Shift availability must be Thursday & Friday 3pm-11p CST. Please note that there may be additional opportunities for part-time overnight shifts from 11p-7am CST for the right candidates.
