Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Healthcare Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing excellent customer service to members of our Medicare Advantage plan, addressing their concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Managing a senior population by exhibiting a strong dedication to empathy and using active listening skills to address members' concerns.
  • Documenting calls appropriately to reflect each interaction with members, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
  • Meeting and exceeding contact center targets for call management, quality, and adherence to schedule.
  • Handling all calls professionally and escalating when necessary, ensuring seamless issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and improve customer experiences.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare customer service.

Operational Hours:

Our contact center operates Monday through Friday, 8am-8pm EST, with varying shifts available within operational hours. During open enrollment, operational hours will change to include weekends, ensuring we are available to support our members during peak periods.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in health insurance/Medicare/Medicaid customer service.
  • 1 year of customer service experience in a call center environment; 1+ years using QNXT.
  • Knowledge of Member Service, HIPAA, Claims, and Provider Services.
  • High School graduate or GED; 2-4 years undergraduate degree or certificate is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience using dual monitors, multiple applications, and phone simultaneously; strong keyboard skills and ability to enter data accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Hourly rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
